Custom Technologies for Processing of Refractory Metals for Better Performance

Application of LINTERPROCESS™ and LINHEAT™ technologies on various refractory metals to create high strength and temperature-tolerant materials, such as carbides, nitrides, oxides, etc., which yielded highly robust and durable material surface and core properties and resulted in development of effective new custom treatment technologies.

Tables 1 and 2 contain key characteristics of metals which can be effectively used as base metals in creation of carbide (Table 1) and nitride (Table 2) protective surfaces (and other protective surfaces) after treatment with corresponding new SANOVA technologies which work very effectively on any refractory metal and their alloy in forming durable protective cases containing necessary chemical compounds (carbides and nitrides in this case) on outer and inner surfaces of components of any shape and size manufactured from these materials. Ability of SANOVA treatment technologies to use any processing temperature up to melting point of the metal and specific active medium composition and concentration are the principles of effective treatment protocol creation for a selected material.
